Haryana: An FIR has been filed against former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupindra Singh Hooda for his alleged involvement in the National Herald Case by the Haryana State Vigilance bureau.

Hooda along with four IAS officers allegedly re-allotted a plot in Sector 6 of Panchkula to the Congress linked Association Journals Limited (AJL), owner of National Herald.

He has also charged with cheating and breach of trust under the Indian Penal Code and also criminal misconduct under prevention of Corruption Act.

As per reports, Hooda has been booked under section 409 (criminal breach of trust by a public servant), 420 (cheating), 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code and section 23 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The former chief minister and the four IAS officers allegedly recommended the re allotment of the plot to AJL in violations of rules.

This is the second case registered by the State Vigilance Bureau against Hooda.
