New Delhi: Big news is coming from the Singhu border at this time. Unknown people here set fire to the farmers' tents in protest against the agricultural laws, which has stirred up the spot.

Farmers' tent in fire:

According to the information received, a car and many things of the farmers have been gutted in this incident. Significantly, these farmers have been protesting against the new agriculture laws of the central government for the past several months. The farmers demand that they will continue to perform like this until the government agrees to their demands.

"Around 12 noon, a man was seen near a tent. He was trying to set it on fire. When farmers saw the blaze, they rushed with water to douse the fire immediately. The man then set fire to another tent and left. A group of farmers tried chasing him but he escaped, " member of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha said.

No casualties:

A senior police officer said, "We have been told that a man came from BRTS side and set fire to two tents or shanties. These structures were built by farmers for the summers. They kept their luggage, installed air coolers and put some furniture inside these small tents. Nobody was injured in the incident. The fire was doused within an hour."

Many farmers are protesting against the agricultural bill passed by centre. It's been more than 6 months that they are sitting at the Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh borders. Amid Corona spike this is the matter of concern that why Government is not resolving their problems.

In today's incident, Police has informed that no casualties happend. Also, everyone who is protesting at the Singhu Border is safe.
