New Delhi: The farmers, who are protesting against the three agricultural laws, have intensified the movement. Due to which traffic movement on many borders of Delhi with Haryana and Uttar Pradesh (UP) is closed on Tuesday i.e. today.

Farmers' Protest at Delhi border:

On the other hand, farmers have refused to move away from Delhi's borders despite the current upsurge in covid-19 cases and a week-long lockdown imposed by the Delhi government on Monday night.

Delhi-UP Border sealed:

According to the information received, people coming from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi today may have problems because the Ghazipur border has been closed. At the same time, the traffic police has advised people coming from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi to change the route from Ghazipur to take the routes passing through Anand Vihar, DND, Loni DND.

Apart from this, entry and exit between Singhu, Tikri, Auchandi, Piau Maniyari, Saboli and Mangesh have also been closed between Delhi and Haryana.

The traffic police has advised commuters to take alternate routes through the Lampur Safiabad, Palla and Singhu school toll tax borders. He said that traffic has been diverted from Mukarba and GTK Road in view of stopping the jam and people have to face less trouble. Apart from this, travelers can choose other border routes like Delhi-Gurgaon and Delhi-Faridabad.

Protest against Agri Bill:

In fact, the farmers' movement is continuing against the Center regarding the new agricultural laws. These farmers have been demonstrating at different borders in Delhi for the last several months.

But in view of this, the Corona virus is spreading rapidly in the entire country including Delhi, due to this, the Delhi Police started opening the road leading to Ghaziabad from Delhi on the Ghazipur border late on Sunday night. However, now the farmer has clearly refused to move out of Delhi's borders despite the lockdown.
