New Delhi: Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated on Friday in the whole country. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated the people of the country on the occasion of Eid.

On the occasion of Eid for the second consecutive time due to covid-19, neither the namaz will be performed collectively nor is it allowed to celebrate Eid in public. Muslim religious leaders have appealed to people to celebrate Eid by staying in their homes.

Eid Celebration 2021:

President Kovind wrote on Twitter, "Eid Mubarak to all countrymen! This festival is an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of mutual brotherhood and harmony and rededicate ourselves to serve humanity. Come, let us pledge to follow all the rules to deal with covid-19 and work for the betterment of the society and the country. "

PM Modi extends wishes:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "Good luck on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Wish everyone good health and well being. With our collective efforts, we can overcome this global epidemic and work towards advancing human welfare. Happy Eid!"

At the same time, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi performed Namaz at his home in Delhi on the occasion of Eid. He said, "Happy Eid with the blessings of everyone's health and well being." Care, prevention and prayer will rid humanity of India and the whole world from this pandemic. The government and society are constantly working to ensure the good health of the people. "

While congratulating Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, he wrote, "Best wishes to Eid-ul-Fitr. I hope that this day will further strengthen the bonds of peace and goodwill in our society.
