Earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on Richter Scale hits Karnataka's Gulbarga

New Delhi: Mild earthquake tremors have been felt in Karnataka in the morning. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.4 on the Richter scale.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was Gulbarga. The tremors of the earthquake were felt around 6 am. However, the matter of relief is that no news of any kind of damage has come to the fore due to these tremors.

Let us inform that on the previous day, earthquake tremors were felt in Arunachal Pradesh's capital Itanagar too late in the night. The magnitude of this earthquake was measured at 3.6 on the Richter scale.

Accordingly, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 km. There is no news of any damage so far. Information from the National Center for Seismology has been received that the epicenter of the earthquake was felt 89 kilometers southwest (SW) of Alchi.

It is known that tremors of earthquake are being felt continuously in Leh for the last few months. Earlier on March 25, the land of Leh was shaken by the tremors of the earthquake. Before March, tremors were felt on 27 September last year and again on 6 October. The magnitude of the earthquake at that time was 3.7 and in October was 5.1.
