Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday interacted with the beneficiaries of PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana in Uttar Pradesh. During this, he appealed to the people of the state to get the vaccine against covid-19. At the same time, he has asked not to believe in rumours. On Tuesday itself, PM Modi interacted with the beneficiaries of Gujarat's Anna Yojana.

PM Modi told the beneficiaries that the loot of food grains coming to the poor in the state has now stopped. He said, 'Satisfaction that the food grains of the poor used to be looted in UP during the earlier governments, now that path has stopped. The way the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana is being implemented in UP, it further strengthens the identity of the new Uttar Pradesh.

Economy is improving: PM Modi

PM Modi said that the deteriorating economy is improving during the Corona period. He said, 'Even in this Corona period, the enterprise of Indians is creating new paradigms. Be it the collection of GST or our exports in July, they are touching new heights. GST collection of Rs 1 lakh 16 thousand crore in July shows that the economy is gaining momentum.


PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana:

The PM praised the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath. He said that in the last 4 years, Yogi ji made new records of purchases on MSP.

In the procurement of wheat and paddy in UP this year, almost twice as many farmers have got the benefit of MSP as compared to last year.

Along with this, he has also raised questions on the previous governments that ruled the state. "In the past decades, Uttar Pradesh was always seen through the prism of politics. UP can play an advance role in the development of the country, it was not even allowed to be discussed.
