New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Durga Puja pandal with the people of West Bengal on Thursday. PM Modi participated in the event virtually through video conferencing. In such a situation, women gave a grand welcome to PM Modi by playing conch shell.

PM Modi extends wishes of Durga Puja:

On this occasion, Babul Supriyo, BJP MP from Asansol, also recited the song of Rabindra Sangeet. Let us tell you, Durga Puja, the biggest festival of Bengal has started from today. On this auspicious occasion, PM Modi is offering Worship of Pooja to the people of the state.

Narendra Modi addresses Durga Puja pandal in Bengal:

The address is being broadcast in different areas of Bengal during the inauguration of the Durga Puja pandal in West Bengal. PM Modi recalled many freedom fighters from Bengal. PM Modi said that today is the day to remember the people of Bengal including Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Swami Vivekananda. Bengal has a major contribution in handling today's India.

At the inauguration of the Durga Puja pandal in Bengal, the PM began his address in Bengali. PM Modi said that the power of devotion is such that I am not in Delhi but in Bengal. When the blessings of Mother Durga, the whole country becomes Bengal. The PM said that people from the land of Bengal have served Mother Bharati with weapons and scriptures.
