Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the young IPS officers of the country in Hyderabad on Friday. While addressing the probationary IPS officers online at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, PM Modi spoke to young IPS officers. During this, PM Modi also mentioned Ajay Devgan's film 'Singham'.

Do your duty with honesty:

He said that when some people go on duty first, they feel that I should work to show my courage, scare people. They think that I should leave one of my spades in the people and those who are anti social elements, tremble in my name. He said that all those people who grow up watching movies like Singham, keep this in their mind, due to which the work done is missed by them.

Be prepared for tough situation: PM Modi

The Prime Minister advised to refrain from doing anything like this, as this may overlook the good work done by him. At the same time, PM Modi also emphasized that the possibility of some 'unexpected' things in this profession is very high, so officers should be cautious. Must be prepared to face them.

"Workload and pressure are on everyone even on the farmers. This is a part of life and this is not something which cannot be managed. If we understand our needs and responsibilities in detail, we can manage things smoothly. In your profession, unexpected events occur and you have to be always ready," PM Modi

Kiran Shruthi hails from Tamil Nadu and serves in the TN cadre. She was always keen to join the Civil Services and that too the IPS. Kiran Shruthi raised a pertinent point on mental health and well-being of the cadre, PMO posted.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the women police officers to seek the help of the women in Jammu and Kashmir from the very beginning to prevent the youth from going on the path of terrorism.

The PM said that there is a need to stop the youth from choosing the wrong path in the initial stage, women police officers can do it through the help of the women there. He said that stress can be dealt with through yoga and pranayama.
