Delhi witnesses coldest Monday at 3 degree; air quality 'very poor'

The IMD official also said that the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 22 degrees Celsius, and the humidity at 0830 hours was 100 percent.

New Delhi: The national capital witnessed the coldest Monday, today, with the minimum temperature recorded at 3 degree Celsius, four notches below the season's average.

Meanwhile, Delhi’s maximum temperature was recorded at 22.9 degree Celsius.

According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) official, ‘There was shallow to moderate fog in the morning whereas some parts of Delhi also had dense fog. There is no sign of rainfall as the sky will remain clear. But there will be haze and mist in the evening."

The IMD official also said that the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 22 degrees Celsius, and the humidity at 0830 hours was 100 percent.

Whereas, the pollution level was found one level up, according to Central Pollution Control Board, which was earlier termed ‘severe’ but has now reached to ‘very poor’. The pollution index is at 413.
