Srinagar: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has reached the Amarnath temple to worship Baba Barfani. Also took stock of security arrangements. During this time he is also accompanied by Chief Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane.

Defense Minister is on a two-day visit to Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. During this time he will also visit LoC and review the situation here.

Rajnath Singh in Ladakh:

The defense minister took a staunch stance and gave a strong message to China about the border dispute, and said that no power in the world can occupy an inch of land in India. After reaching LAC, Rajnath Singh encouraged the soldiers in Ladakh. Rajnath Singh said that we are proud of the Indian Army.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said that India is the only country in the world which has given the message of peace to the whole world. We have never invaded any country, nor have we occupied any country's land. India has given the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

The Defense Minister said that negotiations are going on to resolve the deadline dispute. The matter should be resolved, but I cannot give any guarantee as to how far it will be resolved. I want to assure you that even one inch of India’s land can be taken away by any power of the world.

Para commandos were sent to Ladakh only after the conflict between India and China began. In view of the state of war, these para commandos were deployed in high-altitude areas such as Galvan Valley, Pangong Lake and Daulat Beg Oldi. Para commandos have been deployed to carry out operations in enemy territory.
