Decrease in new Corona Cases; Over 20 lakh people vaccinated till date

New Delhi: Covid-19 vaccination drive started in India on January 16 and till date a total of 20,23,809 people have been vaccinated in the country. In the last 24 hours, 9,102 new cases of Covid-19 infection have come, which is the first time in the last seven months.

Vaccination Program in India:

At the same time, 117 infected deaths were recorded during 24 hours. After this, the total number of infected people in the country so far has gone up to 1,06,76,838 and the death toll stands at 1,53,587.

1,77,266 Active Cases in Country:

At the same time the total number of active cases in the country is 1,77,266 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,03,45,985. As far as the country covid-19 test is concerned, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 19,30,62,694 sample tests have been done in the country till Monday 25 January, out of which 7,25,577 samples. Only came for testing on Monday.

Explain that two covid-19 vaccines have been approved in the country and so far 20 lakh 23 thousand 8 hundred 9 people have been vaccinated in the first phase.

According to health officials, this is the first time in seven months. At the same time, less than 20 thousand cases of infection came in the country every day in the last 19 days, as well as the death toll was less than 300 in the last 29 days. India had 10,064 new cases on 19 January. The Ministry of Health said on Tuesday that cases of recovery from infection have increased.
