New Delhi: The Controller General of Indian Medicine is making an important announcement regarding the indigenous corona vaccine. The entire country is eyeing these announcements of the Controller General. Let us know that covishield and covaxin have received emergency approval in the country so far.

At the same time, regarding the rehearsal of vaccination, the government informed that under this, sessions organized at 286 sites in 125 districts of all states and union territories across the country. The administration trained about 1,14,100 vaccinators under this mock drill.

Earlier on Saturday, Vardhan urged people “not to pay heed to rumours” as the dry run for Covid-19 vaccination got underway across the country. “I appeal to people not to pay heed to rumours. Ensuring the safety and efficacy of the vaccine is our priority. Different kinds of rumours spread during polio immunisation but people took the vaccine. India is now polio-free,” Harsh Vardhan said according to media house.

Union health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Saturday said that in the first phase of Covid-19 vaccination, free vaccine shall be provided across the nation to most prioritised beneficiaries that include one crore healthcare and two crore frontline workers.
