Bengaluru: Karnataka's Chikkaballapura district witnessed a shocking incident on late Sunday night when over 900 LPG cylinders stored in two trucks exploded in Chintamani village here.

No causalities, however, have been reported so far in the incident.

According to the people living in the nearby areas, "The blast led to huge fire that engulfed two trucks and a Bolero vehicle."

The district administration officials said that the incident took place due to short circuit of a battery. "Fire tenders reached the spot to douse the flame and as of now the situation is under control," the officials stated.
