New Delhi: Vaccine distribution work is going on fast in different areas of the country. The process of vaccination will start from January 16 across the country. Under this, the vaccine will be given to the frontline workers in the first phase. In this, doctors, healthcare workers, scavengers will get vaccine doses.

Vaccination from 16 January:

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Thursday said the government will compare the coronavirus vaccine Covishield and Covaxin under different standards. According to the ministry, this will include the requirements of vaccine platforms, features, doses, cold chain storage. Emergency use of two covid-19 vaccines approved in India.

In the first phase, under the vaccination program starting from January 16, three lakh health workers will recieve vaccine in 2,934 places across the country.

In this order, Kalburgi City Corporation Commissioner of Karnataka, Snehal Lokhande said on Friday, 'The scavengers of Mahanagar Palika have worked hard. He did a fairly good job at risk during the epidemic. These hardworking people who collect waste from hospitals and homes will give vaccine supplements in the first phase. Karnataka will get 20,000 doses of covaxine. This information gave by Dr. K Sudhakar, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare.
