COVID: Corona cases increase for the sixth consecutive day in India
The rising daily data of corona infection in Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh for the last few days has made the government worried.
New Delhi: In many states of the country, the corona virus has started spreading its foot again. Due to this, the cases of corona have increased in the country since last 6 days. Today, for the sixth consecutive day, the country has witnessed an upsurge in corona virus cases.
14,264 new cases of corona virus:
According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, 14,264 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. 90 people have died during this period. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country is also increasing. Which the government is worried about.
The rising daily data of corona infection in Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh for the last few days has made the government worried. Cases of corona virus infection in some districts of Mumbai, Pune and Vidarbha have been increasing rapidly since last few days. The growing transition in rural areas has raised the government's concern. Due to these states, more than 14 thousand new cases have been reported for the first time in the last 22 days.
Corona Updates in India:
According to the statistics of the Union Health Ministry, a total of 1 crore 9 lakh 91 thousand 651 cases of corona virus have been reported so far in the country. However, out of this, 1 crore 6 lakh 89 thousand 715 people have been recovered. The active cases of corona virus in the country have increased to 1 lakh 45 thousand 634. So far, a total of 1 lakh 56 thousand 302 people have died from Corona in India.
6,281 new cases in Maharashtra
In Maharashtra, the infection of corona is increasing. On Saturday, 6,281 new cases were reported in the state and 40 people died. So far 20.93 lakhs have been found infected in the state and 51,753 people have died. Amravati district is getting maximum number of cases, due to which the lockdown has been extended till Monday.
