New Delhi: The cases of Corona virus infection in the country (COVID-19 in India) are once again seen to be increasing rapidly. The number of coronavirus-infected patients is breaking records every day. Within the last 24 hours, more than 35 thousand new cases have been reported in the country.

Over 35 thousand new corona cases:

According to the data released by the Health Ministry, the total number of infected patients in the country has increased to one crore 14 lakh 74 thousand 605 after new cases of corona have been reported. In the last 24 hours, 35,871 new cases of Carona virus infection have been reported, while 171 people have died.

According to the Health Ministry, 1 crore 10 lakh 63 thousand 25 people have been recovered in the country so far, while at present there are 2 lakh 52 thousand 364 active cases. After the deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of dead in the country has increased to 1 lakh 59 thousand 216. According to ICMR, 10,63,379 corona investigations have been done in the last 24 hours in the country.

Corona situation in Maharashtra:

On Wednesday, 23,179 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra. Which is the highest number of cases reported in a day in 2021. Health officials said that the total number of infection cases in the state has increased to 23,70,507, including new cases.

On Wednesday, the death toll rose to 53,080 as 84 more patients died due to the epidemic. According to the Health Department, 9,138 people were discharged from hospitals during the day, taking the total number of healthy people to 21,63,391. There are 1,52,760 patients undergoing treatment in the state at present.
