New Delhi: The festive season has started. After a few days, great festivals like Dhanteras, Deepawali and Chhath will also come near. In such a situation, it is a matter of relief that the situation of Corona in the country is continuously improving.

According to the data released by the Health Department on Monday, in the last 24 hours, after 230 days, for the first time after eight months, the least number of corona patients have been reported. 13,596 infected have been registered in 24 hours. Whereas, on Sunday this figure was 14,146.

Corona latest update:

Due to the continuously decreasing number of corona patients, the number of active cases in the country is also falling rapidly. The good thing is that now the number of active cases has reached below two lakhs. According to the data released on Monday, a total of 1,89,694 are currently infected in the country.

166 deaths in 24 hours:

According to the data of the Health Department, 166 deaths have occurred across the country in the last 24 hours. After this, the total death toll from Corona has reached 4,52,290. At the same time, after the new cases surfaced on Sunday, the total number of infected people has increased to 3,40,81,315.

The decline in the number of corona infected may be a matter of relief, but the second fact is that the corona investigation in the country has also decreased rapidly. According to the latest information, the investigation is being reduced to one lakh. Till October 4, RTPCR testing of more than seven lakh samples was being done in daily investigation. Now this number is continuously decreasing.

In the last one to two days, only six lakh samples out of 11 were tested through RTPCR. So far 59.09 crore samples have been tested. Experts of ICMR believe that due to less RTPCR test, missing cases are increasing continuously. There is a risk of spreading infection from them. The shocking thing has come to the fore in the report that not a single sample has been tested with RTPCR technique in Bihar and Andhra Pradesh during festivals.
