India records Single day rise of 20,549 new COVID-19 cases
According to the data of the ministry, the number of patients who are free of infection in the country has increased to 98,34,141.
NEW DELHI: Today cases of corona virus have increased after a decline. In the last 24 hours, 20,550 new cases have been reported. On Tuesday, there was a steep decline in daily affairs.
There were 16,432 new cases of infection yesterday. At the same time, the number of infection-free patients has reached beyond 98 lakhs.
20,550 new infections of the corona:
According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 20,550 new infections of the corona virus have been detected in the last 24 hours, thus increasing the number of infected in the country to 1,02,44,853. At the same time, 286 people have lost their lives due to infection during this period, after which the number of corona dead has increased to 1,48,439.

According to the data of the ministry, the number of patients who are free of infection in the country has increased to 98,34,141. In the last 24 hours, 26,572 patients have defeated the virus and have recovered and returned home after treatment. At the same time, the number of active cases of corona virus in the country remains below three lakh.
According to the data, the total number of active cases of covid-19 in the country is 2,62,272, which is being treated in the hospital. In the country, the death rate in cases of covid-19 is 1.44 percent, while the recovery rate of patients has increased to 95.82 percent at the national level.

The number of Covid-19 cases in India crossed the 20 lakh mark on 7 August, while 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September and 50 lakh on 16 September. The number of infected people crossed 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 November and one crore on 19 December.
