New Delhi: The effect of the second wave of Corona in the country is now clearly starting to weaken. The Health Ministry has informed on Tuesday that the Covid Recovery Rate in the country has now been 85.6 percent, which was 81.7 percent on 3 May.

At the same time, there has been 4,22,436 recoveries during the last 24 hours, which is the largest figure till date. The joint secretary of the ministry, Lav Aggarwal, has said that this is clearly a positive trend.

Corona Updates in India:

According to the information given by the ministry, 99,651 recovery notes were made in Kerala. He said that we are noting clear positive trends in recovery and there is a decrease in active cases also. There are only 8 states where more than 10,000 cases are coming every day. There are 26 states where the recovery is more than the cases reported daily.

Only 69% of the cases are in 8 states:

On May 7, there were close to 4,14,000 cases in the country. There have been 2,63,000 cases in the last 24 hours. For the last 2 days, new cases have come down by 300,000. Today's cases are 27% less than the cases that came on May 7. Only 69% of the cases are in 8 states.

The ministry has said that 1.8 percent of the entire population of the country has been affected by corona infection so far. We have so far managed to prevent infection in less than 2 percent of the population. The case positivity rate in the country has come down to 14.10%. This is the average of the entire country.

For the past few days, more cases of recovery are coming in the country than new cases every day. Today, for the second consecutive day, less than three lakh cases have been reported. The test positivity rate has been steadily falling. However, the spread of infection in rural areas still remains a big challenge for governments.
