Coronavirus: Sudden spike in Covid19 cases in Bihar, Over 6K deaths in a day

According to the latest data, the number of people who lost their lives in the second wave of corona virus infection is close to 8,000 and the death toll has increased almost six times since April.

New Delhi: The decrease in the cases of Coronavirus in India continues, although the death toll is still beyond 2,000. But in the figures released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Mohfw) on Thursday, the death toll has been reported as 6,418, after which the concern of the people has increased.

More than 6K deaths in a day:

Although the ministry has said that 2,187 people have died in the last 24 hours, but after updating the number of deaths by the state of Bihar, this number has crossed 6,000.

It was told that 2,187 people died due to the pandemic in the country on Wednesday, but 6,138 deaths were recorded in yesterday's data. This happened because 3,951 deaths in Bihar have been updated in the past. After the amendment made by the state health department, the total death toll from this pandemic in Bihar increased to 9,429 from 5458 on Tuesday.

Corona surge in BIHAR:

According to the information received from the Health Department, apart from the number of people who died of corona virus infection till Wednesday, apart from the number of deaths of 3,951 other people have been added after verification.

In the data released by the department, it has not been told when these additional deaths happened but a breakup of all 38 districts of the state has been mentioned. According to the latest data, the number of people who lost their lives in the second wave of corona virus infection is close to 8,000 and the death toll has increased almost six times since April.

A total of 2303 deaths have occurred in Bihar from Corona in the state capital Patna, while Muzaffarpur district is at number two with 609 deaths. After verification, maximum 1070 additional deaths have been added in Patna. After this, 316 additional deaths have been added in Begusarai, 314 in Muzaffarpur and 222 in Nalanda, the native of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
