Coronavirus: Single-day rise of 83,876 COVID-19 cases, 895 fatalities

New Delhi: Amidst the decreasing cases of Corona, the process of reducing restrictions across the country is going on. Weekend lockdown has been abolished in Jammu and Kashmir, while night curfew has been relaxed by one hour. Schools have reopened for classes 9th to 12th in the capital Delhi from today. These schools were closed in December due to the increase in the cases of covid-19.

Corona cases are decreasing rapidly in the country. A total of 83,876 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of patients recovering during this period stood at 1,99,054. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, 895 patients have died due to corona in the last 24 hours in the country.

13 new cases in Tripura:

No one died of corona virus infection in Tripura on Sunday after a full month. A health department official said that with the arrival of 13 new cases of infection in the last 24 hours, a total of 1,00,650 people have been confirmed infected in this northeastern state. A total of 913 people have died due to covid in the state so far.

In Maharashtra, 9,666 more patients were found infected with the corona virus on Sunday, taking the total number of cases of infection to 78,03,700 while the death toll has reached 1,43,074 due to the death of 66 patients. The Health Department said that a total of 25,175 patients were discharged from the hospital in a day, taking the number of people who recovered from the disease to 75,38,611. Now 1,18,076 patients are under treatment for covid-19 in the state.

The daily new cases of covid coming in Kerala have come down to 30 thousand and in the last 24 hours 26,729 new cases have come in the state. Till Sunday, a total of 62.71 lakh people have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus in the state. According to the bulletin of the Health Department, with the death of 22 people due to infection in the last 24 hours, the death toll from covid has increased to 58,255. At present, 3,29,348 patients of covid are undergoing treatment in Kerala. At the same time, a total of 58,83,023 people have become infection free so far.
