Coronavirus: Single day rise of 44,643 new COVID-19 infections

New Delhi: On Friday, an increase in corona cases has been registered once again in India. However, in front of the figures released on Thursday, the number of deaths in the country during 24 hours is less.

Over 45k new corona cases:

It has been more than a week, when the lowest number of 29 thousand new cases of corona were registered in the second wave in the country, but since then the cases have remained above 40,000. According to the Union Health Ministry, 44,643 new cases of corona virus have been reported in India in the last 24 hours.

During this time 41,096 people have recovered in the country. At the same time, 464 people have died in the last hours. Last day 533 people lost their lives.

Positivity rate above 97%:

According to the Ministry of Health, so far 3 crore 18 lakh 56 thousand 757 corona cases have been reported in the country. At the same time, there are 4 lakh 14 thousand 159 active cases in the country. So far 3 crore 10 lakh 15 thousand 844 people have been recovered in the country. So far 4 lakh 26 thousand 754 people have lost their lives due to corona in India.

The Health Ministry said that the recovery rate of corona virus in the country is now 97.36% and the daily positivity rate is 2.72%. With this, 57,97,808 vaccines of corona virus were administered in the country in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of vaccinations to 49,53,27,595.
