Coronavirus: Single day rise of 38,948 COVID-19 cases, 219 fatalities

New Delhi: Corona crisis continues in India. Every day about 40 thousand cases are increasing. The latest data was released by the Ministry of Health on Monday morning. According to the ministry, 38,948 new corona cases came in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 219 corona infected people lost their lives in the last 24 hours. 43,903 people have also been cured of corona i.e. 5174 active cases have been reduced.

Corona latest updates:

Earlier, more than 40 thousand corona cases were reported in the country for five consecutive days. There were 41965 cases on Tuesday, 47092 on Wednesday, 45352 on Thursday, 42618 on Friday, 42766 on Saturday.

A total of three crore 30 lakh 27 thousand people have been infected since the beginning of the corona pandemic. Out of these, 4 lakh 40 thousand 752 people have died. The good thing is that so far 3 crore 21 lakh 81 thousand people have also been cured. The number of corona active cases in the country is more than four lakhs. A total of 4 lakh 4 thousand 874 people are still infected with the corona virus, who are undergoing treatment.

The maximum number of corona cases in the country are being registered daily in Kerala. With the arrival of 26,701 new cases of covid in Kerala on Sunday, the total number of people infected with the corona virus increased to 42 lakh 7 thousand 838. Whereas after the death of 74 more patients, the number of dead reached 21,496. At present 6,24,301 people have been kept under observation in various districts of Kerala, out of which 33,240 people are in hospitals.

Vaccination in India:

The Union Health Ministry said, till September 5, 68 crore 75 lakh 41 thousand doses of corona vaccine have been given across the country. Last day 25.23 lakh vaccines were administered. At the same time, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 53.14 crore corona tests have been done so far. 14.10 lakh corona sample tests were done on the last day, whose positivity rate is less than 3 percent.
