Coronavirus: Single day rise of 34,403 new COVID19 cases, 320 deaths

New Delhi: New cases of corona in the country continue to fluctuate. More than 34 thousand new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in the country on the last day. During this, more than 300 people have died due to corona in the country. According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, 34,403 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

During this, 320 people have died due to infection. In such a situation, the number of active cases of corona stood at 3.39 lakh. On the other hand, if we talk about the recovery rate, then it is 97.64%. In the last 24 hours, 37,950 people were cured of corona while a total of 3,25,98,424 people have been cured of corona.

On Thursday, 22,182 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Kerala and 178 more patients died due to the pandemic. With this, the total cases increased to 44,46,228 and the death toll reached 23,165. According to a government release, 26,563 patients were cured in the last one day. So far 42,36,309 patients of covid-19 have become infection free. Presently 1,86,190 patients are being treated in the state.

Talking about the country's weekly positivity rate, it is 1.93%. It is below 3 per cent for the last 83 days. The daily positivity rate is 1.94 per cent which is down from 3 per cent for the last 17 days. So far 443,928 people have died from Corona. In the last 24 hours, 64,51,423 people were vaccinated. So far a total of 76,57,17,137 vaccinations have been done. At the same time, talking about the national capital, after 8 days in Delhi, a patient died of Coronavirus infection on Thursday. With this, the death toll due to this deadly virus in Delhi increased to 25,084.
