Coronavirus: Single day rise of 25,467 new COVID-19 infections

New Delhi: There has been a sharp decline in the daily cases of Coronavirus cases in India. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 25 thousand 467 new cases of covid-19 (COVID-19 in India) reported in the country. During this 354 patients died.

At present, treatment of 3 lakh 19 thousand 551 patients is going on in the country. Including the new figures, the total number of corona infected in the country has gone up to 3 crore 24 lakh 74 thousand 773. So far 4 lakh 35 thousand 110 patients have lost their lives in the pandemic.

Vaccination in India:

With 56,10,116 doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine given in the country on Monday, 58.82 crore doses have been given so far. The Union Health Ministry gave this information. According to a provisional report till 7 pm, on the 220th day (23 August) of the vaccination campaign, 39,62,091 people were given the first dose and 16,48,025 people were given the second dose.


On Monday, 1,151 new cases of covid-19 have been reported in Karnataka and 1,002 in Andhra Pradesh. After the arrival of 1,151 new cases of infection in Karnataka, the total number of infected people increased to 29.38 lakh.

At the same time, after the death of 10 more patients, the number of dead increased to 37,155. In the state, 1,442 patients became infection-free during the day, after which the total number of people recovered increased to 28,82,331.

1,002 new cases of infection were reported in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of infected people increased to 20,03,342. According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, after 1,508 patients became infection free, the total number of healthy people increased to 19,75,448. It was told in the bulletin that after the death of 12 more patients, the death toll increased to 13,735. Treatment of 14,159 patients is going on here.
