Coronavirus: Single-day rise of 1,67,059 COVID-19 infections

New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, there is a decrease in new cases of Coronavirus in India, where 1,67,059 new cases have been reported. At the same time, the cases of death have increased the tension of the central government, where 1192 people died due to the corona pandemic.

During this, there have been 2,54,076 recoveries and 1192 people have died due to corona.

After 1.67 lakh new cases, the number of people infected with Corona (Covid-19) in India has reached 4,14,69,499 so far. The total vaccination figure in the country has gone up to 1,66,68,48,204, while the daily positivity rate is 11.69 percent.


Talking about the states, 42,142 new cases of corona infection were reported in Kerala on Monday. Whereas during this 38458 patients were cured and 14 people died. Here the active patients of Corona are 35,7,552. 24,172 new cases of covid-19 were reported in Karnataka. Whereas during the last 24 hours, 30869 people were cured and 56 people died. There are 244331 active cases in the state.

19,280 cases in Tamil Nadu:

There were 19,280 cases of covid-19 in Tamil Nadu on the last day. At the same time, 15,140 new cases of covid have been reported in Maharashtra. There have been 39 deaths here during the last 24 hours. In Maharashtra, 91 new patients infected with Omicron have been identified.

The Health Ministry said that under the nationwide vaccination campaign, 166.68 crore vaccine doses have been given so far. On the other hand, the daily positivity rate of Corona in the country is 11.69%. While the weekly positivity rate has gone up to 15.25%. The ministry said that 73.06 crore corona tests have been done so far. Whereas in the last 24 hours, corona tests of 14,28,672 people were done.
