Punjab Govt imposes Night Curfew in entire State till April 30 (pc: social media)


New Delhi: The government, which became alert after the increasing cases of corona in Punjab, has implemented night curfew in the state till January 15. Now there will be a restriction on movement from 10 o'clock in the night to 5 in the morning except in some circumstances. It will now be implemented in cities and towns. At the same time, bars, cinema halls, malls, restaurants and spas will be operated with 50 percent capacity.

Gyms will be closed.

At the same time, only the employees who have taken both the doses of vaccine will be allowed to go to government and private offices.

Apart from this, schools-colleges, universities and coaching centers have also been closed.

Sports complexes, swimming pools and stadiums have also been closed.

Orders have been given to accommodate only half the passengers in AC buses.


Corona cases in Punjab:

In the midst of increasing infection, active cases of corona have increased the concern of Punjab. An increase of 1394 has been registered in the number of active cases in 10 days. On December 25, the number of these cases was 347, which has increased to 1741 on Monday. An increase in the infection rate has also been recorded. It has increased from one to 4.47 percent in 10 days.

According to the Health Department, samples of 16866118 people have been taken so far in the state, out of which 605922 people have been confirmed infected so far. So far 16651 infected people have died in the state.

In the midst of rapidly increasing corona cases in the state, for the second consecutive day, the number of infected people has crossed 400. In the last 24 hours, once again 419 cases of corona have been reported in the state. In which Pathankot and Patiala saw the highest increase in positivity rate. In these circumstances, the government is going to impose restrictions in both the districts.
