Coronavirus: Over 70k new COVID-19 Cases in a day
During the last 24 hours, 70 thousand 421 new corona cases came across the country. During this 3921 people died. 1 lakh 19 thousand 501 people have also been cured of corona.
New Delhi: The second wave of Corona virus infection (Covid-19 Cases in India) in the country seems to be under control. In the last one week, there has been a 30% reduction in new cases of infection. During the last 24 hours, 70 thousand 421 new corona cases came across the country. During this 3921 people died. 1 lakh 19 thousand 501 people have also been cured of corona.
Corona Updates in India:
According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, so far 2 crore 95 lakh 10 thousand 410 people have been infected with corona in the country. Out of these, 2 crore 81 lakh 62 thousand 947 people have been cured by beating this virus. So far 3 lakh 74 thousand 305 people have lost their lives. At present there are 9 lakh 73 thousand 158 active cases.
There has been an increase of 19% in the weekly death due to corona. The reason for this increase is the old figure of deaths. Maharashtra and Bihar are at the fore in the backlog figures of deaths. In the last seven days, 25 thousand deaths have been registered. Of these, 12573 deaths are old.
Vaccination in India:
Till June 13, 25 crore 48 lakh corona vaccine doses have been given across the country. On the last day, 14 lakh 99 thousand vaccines were administered. So far about 38 crore corona tests have been done. About 14.92 lakh corona sample tests were done on the last day, whose positivity rate is more than 4 percent.
The number of corona infected in Uttar Pradesh has come down to less than 10,000. At present, there are total 9806 active cases of corona in the state. On Saturday, 524 corona infected were found in the state. The recovery rate has increased to 98.1 percent. 2 lakh 74 thousand 811 covid tests were done in 24 hours. Of these, the positivity rate of corona infection was 0.2 percent. So far a total of 5 crore 30 lakh 55 thousand 495 corona tests have been done.
