Coronavirus: Number of active COVID-19 cases has increased to 4,13,718

New Delhi: According to the corona infection data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday morning, 40,134 new infections were identified and 422 new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 36,946 people were discharged after recovery during this period.

Corona spike in Kerala:

Among the states across the country, Kerala is currently going through a bad phase of Corona, while Madhya Pradesh has recorded the least number of cases. There are 125 active cases here while Kerala has 1,67,891 active cases. At the same time, Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths. Here the death toll due to corona is 1,32,948.

It is noteworthy that the first case of the pandemic covid-19 was reported in Kerala itself and now it is believed that it may not even become the site of the beginning of the third wave. According to the Ministry of Health, the recovery rate of corona virus in the country is now 97.35 percent and the daily positivity rate is 2.81 percent.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 46,96,45,494 sample tests have been done so far in India, out of which 14,28,984 samples have been tested only on Sunday.

After today's new cases, the total number of infected in the country so far has increased to 3,16,95,958 and a total of 4,24,773 deaths have been recorded. Talking about those recovering from infection in the country, so far 3,08,57,467 people have defeated Corona. At present, there are 4,13,718 active cases of infection in the country.
