According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, 3 lakh, 33 thousand 533 new cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, which is 4,171 less than Saturday. At the same time, 525 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours.

Over 21 Lakh covid-19 patients:

The daily positivity rate in the country has now increased to 17.78 percent. Active cases in the country are 5.57% of the total cases. At the same time, the weekly infection rate is 16.87 percent.

In Maharashtra, 46,393 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infected in the state to 74.66 lakh. According to the Health Department, 416 new cases of Omicron have been reported in the state.


Record deaths in Delhi in last 24 hours

At the same time, 45 people died of corona in the last 24 hours in Delhi, which is the record for the highest number of deaths in a single day after June 5. At present, the infection rate in the capital is 16.36 percent and active cases are 58,593.

Corona havoc in Kerala and Tamil Nadu
