New Delhi: The number of people who lost their lives due to Coronavirus in India has exceeded four lakhs. 853 people died in the last 24 hours. During this, 46 thousand 617 new cases of infection were reported.

Including the new figures, the total number of patients has reached 3 crore 4 lakh 58 thousand 251. At present, 5 lakh 9 thousand 637 patients are getting their treatment.

Corona Recovery Rate above 97%:

The Union Health Ministry has informed that the number of active cases in the country is 1.67 percent of the total cases. The good news is that the recovery rate has increased to 97.01 percent during this period.

Whereas, the weekly positivity rate is at 2.57 percent. The daily positivity rate has remained within 5 percent for 25 consecutive days. The government said that the testing capacity of corona has also been increased and 41.42 crore tests have been done so far.

Entry of Delta plus variant:

The first patient of Delta Plus variant of covid-19 has been found in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. The official gave this information on Thursday. The investigation report of a 19-year-old woman in Gopalpur of Palampur sub-division of Kangra came positive on May 25. When the sample was examined, then the matter of Delta Plus has come to the fore.

Karnataka govt on Delta+variant

The Karnataka government has implemented strict rules for all passengers coming from Kerala. Now negative RT-PCR certificate will have to be shown for entry in the state. These rules will be effective on all types of travel by plane, train, bus, rail. The state government has issued new rules citing cases of corona virus infection in some districts of Kerala. If these rules are not followed, legal action will be taken.
