Coronavirus: India sees Single day rise of 2,64,202 new COVID-19 infections

New Delhi: There has been a huge jump in the cases of Coronavirus once again in the country. In the last 24 hours, 2,64,202 new cases of covid-19 have been registered from across the country. While 315 patients died during this period.

Corona outbreak in India:

After the arrival of new cases of death, the death toll due to infection has now increased to 4,85,350 in the country. The Union Health Ministry said that the number of active patients of corona virus in India has now increased to 12.72 lakh. The cases of infection registered today are 6.7 percent more than the previous day (Wednesday).

Union Minister Giriraj Singh has also become corona infected. He has isolated himself. In Bihar, the figure of corona has crossed 30 thousand.

Omicron cases in India:

Omicron cases are increasing rapidly in the country. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, the cases of Omicron have increased to 5,753.

On Thursday, Delhi had the highest number of more than 28 thousand new cases in a single day. During this 31 patients also died. Earlier on April 20, 2021, 28,395 new cases were reported in a single day. According to the Delhi Health Department, in the last 24 hours, a total of 98832 people were tested for corona in Delhi, out of which 28867 people were found infected.

Officials associated with the company claimed that the resolution we had taken to develop a global vaccine against COVID-19 has now been fulfilled. All the process of making and licensing this vaccine has been completed.

The cases of Omicron variants are also increasing in the country. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Thursday, today Omicron's cases have crossed 5 thousand. Omicron's cases have increased to 5488.
