New Delhi: In the last 24 hours in India, 28,903 new cases of COVID-19 were reported and 188 infected people died. At the same time, the figure of healthy people in the last 24 hours is 17,741. With this, the total number of infected in the country has so far reached 1,14,38,734 and the death toll reached 1,59,044.

This data was released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday morning. According to this, the total number of active cases in the country is now 2,34,406 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,10,45,284. According to the ministry, a total of 3,50,64,536 people have been inoculated with the corona virus under the vaccination program that started in the country from January 16.

PM Modi calls all-CM Meet:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting of Chief Ministers on Wednesday, amid growing cases of corona in many states of the country. This meeting will start at 12.30 pm. It is believed that PMs can take feedback from the Chief Ministers on the state of Corona in their states, the situation of vaccination and the efforts being made to control the infection.

In Maharashtra, 17,864 people were found corona infected on Tuesday. 9,510 patients recovered. 48 died. So far, 23.47 lakh people have been infected by the infection in the state. Of these, 21.54 lakh patients have been cured, while 52,996 infected have lost their lives. Right now, 1.38 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

In Kerala, 1,970 people were found corona infected on Tuesday. 2,884 patients recovered and 15 died. So far, 10.94 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state.
