Coronavirus: India reports 26,964 new COVID-19 cases, 383 deaths

New Delhi: There is a steady decrease in new cases of corona infection in the country. The country has the lowest number of active cases in 186 days. At present, 3,01,989 people are being treated in the country.

According to the Health Ministry, active cases comprise 0.90 percent of the total infections. In the last 24 hours, more than 26 thousand cases have been reported. During this, more than three and a half hundred people have died. A day before this, 26 thousand cases were registered and 252 people died.

Corona latest update:

According to the latest report of the Ministry of Health, 26,964 new cases of corona have been reported in the country and 383 people have died. At the same time, 34,167 people have recovered from Corona during this period. With this, a total of 3,35,31,498 cases of infection have been registered in the country so far. Out of this, 3,27,83,741 people have recovered and 4,45,768 people have died.

There does not seem to be any relief from corona infection in Kerala. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, 15,768 new cases were registered in the state in the last 24 hours while 214 people died due to this dreaded disease. Due to which the total number of infected increased to 45 lakh 39 thousand 953 and the number of dead increased to 23,897. Let us inform that Kerala has been one of the most affected states in terms of corona infection. About 60 percent of the total cases being reported from across the country are coming from Kerala.

The Health Ministry said that active cases account for 0.90 percent of the total number of infected, which is the lowest since March 2020. According to the data, there has been a decrease in the number of active patients by 7,586 in the last 24 hours. While the recovery rate of patients has been recorded at 97.77 percent, which is the highest since March 2020.
