New Delhi: For the first time in the third wave of corona in the country, weekly corona cases have decreased, while deaths due to the virus continued to increase, compared to the previous week's death toll. 41 percent higher was recorded. This week 3,770 people lost their lives due to corona in the country.

Corona latest update:

On Sunday, 51,570 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Kerala. The Health Department in Thiruvananthapuram said that after the arrival of new cases in Kerala, the total cases have gone up to 59,83,515.

According to the department, in the last 24 hours, 14 people have died in the state due to the pandemic, after which the total death toll has gone up to 53,666. The number of patients under treatment for covid in Kerala is 3,54,595 while 55,74,535 patients have become free from infection. For the past few days, more than 50 thousand cases of infection are coming in the state.


In Karnataka, 28,264 cases of covid-19 were confirmed and 68 people died. According to the medical bulletin released in Bengaluru, the total cases in Karnataka have reached 37,85,295 and the total death toll has risen to 38,942.

Corona in India:

It has been told that out of 28,264 new cases, 11,938 cases are included from Bengaluru urban area. According to the bulletin, so far 34,95,239 people have recovered from the infection in the state while 2,51,084 patients are undergoing treatment for the infection.

In Jammu and Kashmir, 4,615 new cases of infection were reported and seven people died. Officials in Srinagar said that 14,01 new cases have been reported from the Jammu region of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and 3214 from the Kashmir region. He said that at present there are 40,270 patients under treatment of covid in the state.
