Coronavirus: Active COVID-19 cases in country decline to 15,33,921

New Delhi: Now the new cases of corona coming daily in the country seem to be decreasing. However, according to the data released on Thursday, today 6.8% more cases have been registered than yesterday. Today 1.72 lakh new cases have been reported. Earlier, the Center has written a letter to the states asking them to start giving the second dose of the vaccine to eligible adolescents aged 15 to 18 years. However, cases are decreasing in most states.

In Uttar Pradesh, 22 more patients died due to corona infection on Wednesday and 5,052 new infected have been found. According to the government statement released on Wednesday, a total of 20,29,216 people have been infected with corona so far with the arrival of 5,052 new patients in the state within the last 24 hours. With the death of 22 patients in the state in the last 24 hours, so far the number of people who lost their lives due to corona infection has increased to 23,254.

601 new cases in Jharkhand:

On Wednesday, 601 new cases of corona virus were reported in Jharkhand and three people died due to this infection. According to the data released last night by the Ministry of Health, Government of Jharkhand, 601 new patients of corona infection were detected in the state in the last 24 hours, of which 177 are from the state capital Ranchi and 214 are from Jamshedpur. The Health Ministry said that in the last 24 hours, 1189 people have also become free from corona infection.

On Wednesday, 3,028 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Delhi and 27 patients died due to the pandemic. According to the Health Department data, the infection rate was recorded at 4.73 percent. According to the bulletin, after the new cases of infection, the total number of infected people increased to 18,35,979 while the number of dead increased to 25,919.

On behalf of the Union Health Ministry, India reported 1,72,433 new cases of corona in the last 24 hours, which is 6.8% more than yesterday. During this, 2,59,107 patients were cured. 1008 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours
