Coronavirus: India logs 8,439 new COVID-19 cases, 195 fatalities

In the last 24 hours, 8,439 new cases of corona virus have been reported in India. During this 9,525 patients were cured of this pandemic.

New Delhi: The new corona variant has arrived in India. There are chances of another Lockdown in the country. Meanwhile, In the last 24 hours, 8,439 new cases of corona virus have been reported in India. During this 9,525 patients were cured of this pandemic.

At the same time, 195 people died of corona. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, the total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 3,46,56,822. At the same time, active cases have remained consistently below 1 lakh.

Corona latest update:

The active cases of corona virus in the country are currently 93,733 which is the lowest in 555 days. The daily positivity rate is 0.70 percent. The total number of patients who defeated Corona in the country has gone up to 3,40,89,137. At the same time, 4,73,952 people have died due to this pandemic so far.

Due to Corona's new variant 'Omicron', where there is panic among people in many countries of the world, strictness is being taken in India too. People are being appealed to get the vaccine as soon as possible. Many states have even made complete vaccination mandatory. Meanwhile, a relief news has come that the patient infected with Omicron is showing improvement in Delhi. The doctor is hopeful that the patient will be discharged from the hospital soon.

Due to the threat from Omicron, India had put many countries including Bangladesh in the list of countries at risk. But now Bangladesh has been dropped from this list.
