Coronavirus: India reports 3,17,532 new COVID-19 cases in a day

New Delhi: Today a record increase is being seen in the daily cases of Corona. More than 3 lakh new cases of corona infection were reported in the country on Wednesday. Let us inform that according to the figures till 11 pm on Wednesday night, 3,04,416 new cases had been reported. This was when the figures of some states were yet to come. It is worth noting that before this, the last time in India, on 15 May 2021, there were cases close to it in the country.

However, till morning the number of new infected increased to 3,17,532 in the last 24 hours. Last time the number of infected was around 3,11,077. For your information here, let us tell you that in the current and third wave of Corona, it has taken only 23 days to touch this figure.

The second wave took about 60 days. According to the data released late on Wednesday night, a total of 356 people had died within 24 hours. It should be noted that these figures do not include the figures of Punjab, Jharkhand and Tripura.

In terms of global figures of corona infection, at present, India is the second most affected country after America. Since January 17, 2022, more than 8.7 lakh daily cases have been reported in the country.
