Coronavirus: India sees 30,773 new COVID-19 cases, 309 deaths

In the last 24 hours, 30,773 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country, while 309 people have died. At the same time, 38,945 infected patients have recovered and returned home.

New Delhi: After the second wave of corona in the country subsided, new cases have started increasing again. For the last four consecutive days, the number of corona patients has crossed 30 thousand. The increase in new cases of corona is a sign of the third wave.

In the last 24 hours, 30,773 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country, while 309 people have died. At the same time, 38,945 infected patients have recovered and returned home.

Corona cases increasing rapidly in 12 states:

Corona cases are slowly increasing in different parts of the country. In about a dozen states, daily cases of corona are coming above one thousand. This has raised the possibility of a third wave. Experts had also predicted a third wave in the third week of September.

In such a situation, the country is slowly coming in the grip of the third wave. Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh. The speed of corona is increasing in many states including Maharashtra, Mizoram. Kerala still remains the hotspot of Corona. More than 20 thousand new infected patients are coming out in the state every day.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, a total of 55,23,40,168 sample tests have been done till September 18. At the same time, on Saturday (September 18), samples of more than 15 lakh 59 thousand people were taken.

A total of three crore 33 lakh 81 thousand people have been infected since the beginning of the corona epidemic. Out of these, 4 lakh 44 thousand 248 people have died. The good thing is that so far 3 crore 34 lakh 48 thousand people have been cured. The number of corona active cases in the country is less than four lakhs. A total of 3 lakh 32 thousand 158 people are still infected with the corona virus, who are undergoing treatment.
