New Delhi: Vaccine demand in India has increased in the midst of the Corona crisis, in which many companies developing vaccines have sought permission from the Government of India to use the vaccine in an emergency.

In this episode, first Pfizer and Serum Institute and now Bharat Biotech have sought permission from DCGI for the emergency use of indigenously developed covid-19 vaccine.

Biotech asked for emergency use of corona vaccine:

Actually, Bharat Biotech and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) together are developing the indigenous covid 19 vaccine. Its name is 'covaxine'. Bharat Biotech has sought approval from the Drug Control General of India (DCGI) for emergency use of covaxine.

Earlier today, Serum Institute of India (SII) had also sent an application to DCGI for permission to use its Corona virus vaccine 'covishield' in emergency.

On December 4, the Indian branch of US-based pharma company Pfizer. It also sought permission from DCGI for emergency use of the vaccine candidate. At the same time, in the recently held all-party meeting on the Corona vaccine, PM Modi also hoped. Hoped that the corona vaccine would be ready in a few weeks.

Explain that this is the 29th consecutive day when less than 50,000 new cases have been registered in a single day. Earlier on November 7, more than 50,000 cases of infection were reported. At the same time, talk about the most affected states, Maharashtra is at the top in this matter. So far, 18,52,266 people have been affected by this Pandemic.

So far more than 14 crore samples have been tested in the country. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 14,77,87,656 samples have been corona tested by December 6, 2020. Of these, 8,01,081 samples were tested on Sunday.
