New Delhi: In view of the fast growing Corona Infection cases in the country, the Government has decided to intensify the Corona Vaccine campaign. The government has issued orders to apply the vaccine on all days of the month of April.

Vaccination centers, both government and private, will do vaccination throughout April. There will be vaccination on the official holiday also.

Corona Vaccination in India:

On vaccination, the Health Ministry said that according to the report received till 7 am on Wednesday, more than 6.30 crore vaccines have been applied.

Of these, 82,16,239 health care workers have been given the first dose of vaccine, 52,19,525 personnel have been given the second dose, 90,48,417 have been given the first dose to the advance front staff and 37,90,467 have been given the second dose to the advance front.

With this, the first dose has been given to 73,52,957 people above 45 years of age and the second dose to 6,824. Also, 2,93,71,422 people over 60 years of age have been given the first dose and 48,502 have been given the second dose. The ministry said, a total of 19,40,999 vaccines were administered on the 74th day of the vaccination campaign (March 30).

The conditions of Corona in the country are getting worse day by day. New cases of Corona are now breaking records every day. Maharashtra seems to be the most affected by Corona. In the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, 39,544 new cases of corona were reported, which is the second highest number of cases a day since the onset of the pandemic. According to the Health Ministry data, 72,330 new cases of covid-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours across the country, while 459 people have died. After the arrival of new cases, the total number of infected patients in the country has increased to one crore 22 lakh 21 thousand 665.
