Corona Update: Single day rise of 10,064 new COVID-19 cases

New Delhi: The daily cases of corona virus have been reported to drop drastically on Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, 10,064 new cases have been reported, the lowest number of infections reported on a single day in recent months. On Monday, 13,788 new cases were reported. At the same time, the number of infection-free patients has increased to above one crore.

According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 10,064 new infections of the corona virus have been detected in the last 24 hours. In this way the number of infected in the country has increased to 1,05,81,837. At the same time, 137 people have lost their lives due to infection during this period, after which the number of corona dead has increased to 1,52,556.

According to the ministry's data, the number of patients who are free of infection in the country has increased to 1,02,28,753.

In the last 24 hours, 17,411 patients have defeated the virus and have recovered and returned home after treatment. At the same time, the number of active cases of corona virus in the country remains below three lakh.

As per the data, the total number of active cases of Covid-19 in the country is 2,00,528 who are undergoing treatment in the hospital. The number of patients recovering is higher than the new corona cases reported on a daily basis. This has led to a steady decrease in active cases of corona.
