New Delhi: Cases of corona infection continue to decline in India. According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, 15 thousand 144 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours.

During this, 17 thousand 170 patients were cured and 181 people died. During this, a total of seven lakh 79 thousand 377 sample tests were conducted. A total of one crore five lakh 57 thousand 985 cases have been reported in the country so far.

96.68 percent patients recovered:

According to the Health Ministry, the active case is 2,8,826, which is 1.98% of the total cases. One crore one lakh 96 thousand 885 people have recovered from the infection. 96.68 percent patients have recovered. So far, one lakh 52 thousand 274 people have died. Death rate is 1.44 percent. A total of 18 crore 65 lakh 44 thousand 868 sample tests have been done so far.

Kerala record highest number of active cases:

Maharashtra has recorded the highest number of deaths of 52 people in the last 24 hours. Besides, 27 people have died in Kerala, 15 in West Bengal, 12 in Uttar Pradesh, six each from Delhi and Tamil Nadu. The highest number of deaths due to corona in the country has been 50,388 in Maharashtra.

This is followed by 12,257 in Tamil Nadu, 12,162 in Karnataka, 10,738 in Delhi, 10,041 in West Bengal, 8,570 in Uttar Pradesh, 7,139 in Andhra Pradesh, 5,499 in Punjab and 4363 in Gujarat. Currently, Kerala has the most active cases. There are 68,633 active cases here. Maharashtra has 53,163 active cases.

Please tell that the corona vaccination campaign also started in the country on Saturday. On the first day, 1,91,181 health workers, sanitation workers and doctors were vaccinated on the first day of the world's largest vaccination campaign started simultaneously at more than three thousand centers of the country.
