New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry said on Sunday that active cases of corona virus in India remained below 6 lakh for the third consecutive day. According to statistics, there are 5 lakh 70 thousand 458 active cases in the country, which is 6.97 percent of the total cases.

Corona cases decreasing in India:

The ministry says that there is a steady decline in active cases of corona in the country. Corona infects per 1 million population in India are the lowest in the world. There are 5,930 patients per 10 lakh people in India.

Death rate due to corona is 1.49%

According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Saturday, the number of people who lost their lives due to infection in the country has increased to 1,22,111 due to the death of 470 more people in the last 24 hours. So far 74,91,513 people in the country have recovered from Covid-19 infection and the rate of de-infection of people has increased to 91.54 percent. The death rate due to corona virus is 1.49 percent.
