New Delhi: There has been a record increase in new cases of Coronavirus in India. During the last 24 hours, more than 95 thousand new cases have been reported and 1,172 people have also died during this period. Meanwhile, the number of patients recovering from the virus is also increasing rapidly.

Recovery Rate at 78 percent in India:

The number of patients who have completely recovered from Corona's active cases has nearly quadrupled. Talking about patients recovering, this figure has reached about 78 percent. It shows that a large number of patients are also recovering daily in the country. There are 61% active cases in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 96,735 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country with the total figure of corona infected has increased to 44 lakh 65 thousand 864.

More than 9 lakh active corona cases:

Out of this, 34 lakh 71 thousand 84 people have been completely cured, while 9 lakh 19 thousand 18 are active cases. So far 74,935 patients have died from this epidemic, including 1,107 deaths on Wednesday.

According to ICMR, 11 lakh 29 thousand 756 samples were tested on Wednesday. India is among the countries where the maximum number of tests are being done in a day. So far more than 5 crore 29 lakh samples have been tested in the country to detect corona infection.
