City's top cop : Five children took Charge as a cop for a day
Proudly adorning the Khakhi uniform, terminally-ill children assumed command as Bengaluru as top cop for a day as a special initiative by city police and 'Make a wish foundation'.
Bengaluru: Five kids namely- Ruthan Kumar, Mohammad Sahib, Sayyed Imad, Shravani, Arfath Pasha were given customary guard of honor from police team as well as the dog squad before assuming the charge of city's commissioner of police. Proudly adorning the Khakhi uniform, terminally-ill children assumed command as Bengaluru as top cop for a day as a special initiative by city police and 'Make a wish foundation'.
The children were seen carefree interacting with the police dogs and looked excited when they were handed guns and handcuffs, Children were all set to take responsibility of the Khaki uniform and were feeling blessed to get this wonderful opportunity.
A senior Police officer asked children what would you do after becoming the authority? one of the little cop Arfath answered that "I'll put bad people in jail".
Bhaskar Rao commissioner of Bengaluru city police shared some details about the foundation and said, "We were approached by Make a Wish Foundation couple of days ago and got to know that children want to visit a police station. even we gave them real guns and handcuffs they were really very excited".
Gangadhar member of the foundation said that we approached the police commissioner of Bangalore when we come to know about the deepest desire of children that they wanted to visit police station. He said that "We work with the children who are battling with the life-threatening disease. The children deepest wish was to become police officers. we were very happy that police offers helped us today to fulfill the wish of little children".
