Bengaluru's Electric Vehicle (EV) startup Bounce on Thursday announced the launch of its new Infinity Electric scooter in the Indian market for Rs 68,999 including batteries and chargers. However, if you buy a scooter without a battery, you will have to pay only Rs. 36,000. The company has also started booking for its battery-powered scooter at a token amount of Rs 499. Let's find out more about this scooter.

You can hire batteries from swapping points

This bounce electric scooter has special swapping battery options, which will give customers a chance to easily replace the battery with swapping points. On purchase of this scooter, customers can also hire batteries from swapping points set up by the company, for which the company will also build a battery swapping network to support it. Initially, the option will be available only in six cities - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Delhi, and Vijayawada.

Infinity is the first electric scooter with an alternative battery

Bounce Infinity is India's first electric scooter to be introduced with alternative batteries. Bounce has introduced this e-scooter with the option of 'Battery as a Service' which allows customers to choose vehicles without batteries. You can save money by buying a scooter without a battery. At the same time, it will take on rivals like Bajaj Chetak Electric, TVS ICube, and Ether 450X in terms of price.

Features, Color Variants, and other details

Bounce Infinity is powered by a two-kWh lithium-ion battery pack that gives the electric scooter an 85-kilometer range on a single charge. It also has a peak speed of 65 kilometers per hour.

The Infinity electric scooter, according to Bounce, has a drag mode that allows the rider to move the scooter if it is punctured. Power and Eco are two more riding modes.

The Bounce Infinity comes with a connection feature that allows the scooter's system to be connected to an app. This enables the user to verify the information and operate various functionalities directly from their smartphone.

The Bounce Infinity E1 e-scooter comes in five distinct colors. Sparkle Black, Comet Gray, Sporty Red, Pearl White, and Desat Silver are the colors.

The electric scooter comes with a completely digital speedometer that displays data such as ignition status, side stand status, indicators, battery SOC status, speed display, odometer reading, vehicle status, Bluetooth status, and high beam status, among other things.

Scooter to be delivered in March

The company will start a test ride for electric scooters in the coming few weeks, while delivery may start in March next year. Infinity Electric Scooter has been launched in five color options.

The company has made big investments

Bounce had recently acquired electric and ICE two-wheeler manufacturing company '22Motors' for manufacturing electric scooters. For this, the company had to pay about US$ 7 million (about Rs 52 crore). This will enable the company to manufacture 1.80 lakh scooters annually from its manufacturing plant in Rajasthan. Bounce may also soon open a new manufacturing plant to increase the production of its electric scooter.
