New Delhi: CBSE after giving a big surprise to Class 12 students by declaring their results on Monday. Now, CBSE has announced the results of class 10th.

The board had already made it clear that it would release the results of board examinations by July 15. Let us tell you that this time more than 18 lakh students had appeared in the CBSE board 10th class examination.

As the CBSE Board Results 2020 are being calculated on the basis of an alternative assessment scheme announced by the CBSE; the board has decided not to announce any toppers list or merit list for Class 12 students. At the same assessment scheme is likely to be followed for Class 10 students as well, the board is likely to continue this policy of not declaring CBSE 10th Toppers List 2020 after the results are declared. Although, final confirmation on this is still awaited from board’s end.

This year, in class 12 the pass percentage touched at 88.78 per cent, with girls outperformed boys with 92.15 per cent, while the pass percentage of boys was 86.19 per cent.

Some parents filed petition in the Supreme Court to cancel the paper due to the corona virus epidemic, after which the court sought opinion from the board. After this, the board decided to cancel the paper and informed the court about it. At the same time, CBSE had made it clear that it will release the board results before July 15.
