Barmer: Enraged over being tied in the sun day all day long, a camel attacked its owner and mauled his head in Barmer district of Rajasthan on Saturday evening.

Urjaram, a native of Mangta village attacked by the camel when trying to untie him and bring in shade. It took a struggle of six hours for the villagers to calm down the camel.

"Camel lifted him by the neck and threw him on to the ground, chewed the body and mauled the head," villager Thakara Ram said.
