Happy Birthday: Chota Don Rajpal Yadav turns 45 today

Mumbai: One of the Bollywood’s most renowned comedians Rajpal Yadav, who brought smile to millions of faces from his ultimately entertaining roles in movies, has turned 45 on Wednesday. Yadav has played all kinds of characters but gained popularity with comic ones.

Yadav always had an intense passion for acting and was associated with Shahjahanpur theatre where he participated in numerous plays.

Personal Life:

• The comedy sensation, who was last seen in ‘Welcome Back’, was born on March 16, 1971 in Kundra near Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
• Yadav married ‘Radha yadav’ in 2003.
• He met Radha in Canada while shooting for one of his films.

Education

• He completed his primary education being at his native place itself.
• In 1992, Yadav joined Bhartendu Natya Academy (BNA), Lucknow.
• In 1994, he moved to National School Drama (NSD).

Career:

• Rajpal Yadav started his acting career with a television show namely ‘Mungeri ke bhai Naurangilal’ which was telecasted on Doordarshan in 1998.
• In 2014, Yadav did his first Hollywood flick named ‘Bhopal: A prayer for rain’.
• In 2015, he debuted in Tollywood with the movie ‘Kick 2’.
• He did theatre for almost 15 yrs.
• He had participated in almost 500 plays till date.

Awards and Recognition:

• Yadav received Sansui Screen award for ‘best actor in a negative role’ for the movie ‘Jungle’.
• He was awarded with Yash Bharti Award for the film ‘Main Madhuri Dixit banna chahti hu’.
• Rajpal yadav was also honoured with Janpad Ratna Award.
